Christmas Chex

It's that time of year! I actually haven't made this yet-but my friend has & gave it rave reviews. I'm planning on making it asap.

6 cups Rice Chex
12 oz white vanilla baking chips (2 cups)
1/2 C crushed peppermint candy canes (14 miniature)

Line cookie sheet with foil. Place cereal ina large bowl. In a saucepan, melt chips until smooth. Stir in 1/2 of the peppermint candy. Pour over cereal & toss evenly to coat. Spread layer onto cookie sheet into a single layer, top with remaining peppermint candy. Let sit about 20 minutes. Gently break up cereal & place in air tight container.
